The 18 Hole Championship Golf Course

An 18 hole championship golf course lies at the heart of Terrace Downs® High Country Resort. This internationally rated golf course is among the top 5 in New Zealand. Terrace Downs® Golf Course offers four tee positions allowing golfers of all abilities to enjoy the high country experience! Guests can book a tee-off time upon arrival. Carts and club hire is available.

Please be warned however, concentrating on your golf in this beautiful high country location can often be a bigger challenge than meeting par!

Other Activities

Rakaia Villas does not offer guests any activities nor do we offer a booking service. There are activities available locally such as skiing, hiking and fishing. The Resort itself offers the public access to numerous activities such as golf, horse riding, claybird shooting and more. These all need to be arranged directly with the Resort before or when you arrive.
